You’ll gather and share your logo, brand assets, and any existing content you want included (mission statement, programs, images, etc.). A checklist will be provided to make this easier.

Write, Design, & Build
I’ll handle the full site design and build, including layout, visual styling, and essential features like donation forms or event calendars.

This free website offer is my way of building real connections and understanding your needs. You cover just the hosting, and in return, I get to optimize an affordable and sustainable process that truly works for nonprofits like yours. It’s a partnership that helps us both succeed.
The Nitty-Gritty Details
Everything Included in the Build
Your nonprofit will receive a fully built, ready-to-launch WordPress website, designed specifically for small to mid-sized New England organizations. This is a real, professional website ( not a template or a demo.) It can replace an outdated site or serve as your first website. Here’s what’s included:
Custom Messaging & Copywriting
You provide existing materials (brochures, grant copy, old site content), or we do a quick interview.
I’ll write clear, engaging messaging for every page of the site — no copywriting required on your end.
Branded Visual Design
You send over your logo, brand colors, and any photos you like.
I’ll create a clean, modern site design that reflects your style and keeps things accessible.
Core Pages (up to 8)
You tell me what pages you need (e.g. About, Programs, Events, Contact).
I’ll write, design ,and build those pages with intuitive navigation and layout. System pages, blog posts, etc. are not included in that number.
Content Integration
You send over any key documents (bios, PDFs, event details, etc.).
I’ll organize and format the content, lightly edit where needed, and supplement with stock visuals if something’s missing.
Built-In Features
You let me know which tools you need (newsletter signups, donation forms, event calendar, etc).
I’ll configure everything so it works cleanly and looks integrated from day one.
Responsive, Accessible, and SEO-Ready
No action needed from you.
I’ll ensure the site is mobile-friendly, accessible, and set up with clean page structure, metadata, and SEO best practices from the start.
Top-Tier Managed Hosting
Your site is hosted on a premium server (WPMU DEV) through my agency account. Fast, secure, and optimized for WordPress.
Monthly Backups & Updates
I’ll handle plugin updates, WordPress core updates, and automatic daily backups so your site stays healthy and current.
Security, SSL & Monitoring
Your site includes SSL, uptime monitoring, and active security protections. No shady plugins or vulnerabilities.
What’s Not Free
To keep this simple and sustainable, a few things aren’t included in the free build:
Hosting
You’ll pay ~$10/month for hosting, billed in advance for either 6 or 12 months. This covers your site’s infrastructure, updates, backups, and security.
Major Feature Add-ons
Custom functionality like e-commerce, membership portals, or complex integrations may not be part of this pilot. If you need those things, we can talk we can talk about what that may look like.
Ongoing Maintenance
The pilot includes a finished website and a smooth launch. Ongoing edits, seasonal updates, or added features after launch aren’t included. If you want help maintaining the site month to month, we can set up a separate support plan.
Volunteer Funnel Optimization
I can help you improve how you recruit, onboard, and engage volunteers. That kind of strategic work is outside the scope of the free website build, but we can absolutely discuss it later.
Donor Engagement & Contact Funnels
I can help you improve donor retention and build communication systems that work across your CRM, email, and website. This includes things like automated thank-you emails, donation page improvements, and recurring gift campaigns. It isn’t part of the pilot, but it’s something I do offer.
Branding or Visual Identity Work
You’ll need to have a logo and at least some sense of your brand colors. I won’t be doing full logo design, naming, or brand development as part of the free build. If you need lightweight visual support, we can talk about that.

A Bigger Plan, Shared Resources, and Mutual Benefit
What I am building is bigger than a single website or a single nonprofit. The goal is to make strong digital communications and practical systems feel like shared infrastructure for New England nonprofits, so each organization is not forced to solve the same problems alone. When more groups can communicate clearly, run cleaner workflows, and keep their digital tools healthy, the whole region benefits.
That is the intent behind how I work. I standardize the fundamentals, keep things consistent, and design for long term maintainability. The outcome is higher capacity for your staff and volunteers, fewer avoidable breakdowns, and a clearer path to growth, whether that means engaging volunteers, keeping donors informed, improving community access to services, or strengthening trust with partners and funders. My hope is that you eventually outgrow what you started with, because the systems should make you stronger over time.
Over time, I want to expand this shared resource model beyond websites. That includes support like volunteer engagement systems, community based campaign tactics, and practical “fractional” help where it makes sense. Longer term, I also want to help create more collective initiatives across New England that raise capacity across multiple organizations at once, not just one at a time.
